Escrevi esse poema para um projeto da faculdade, semana passada. Usei rimas simples, mas fiquei feliz em conseguir traduzir alguns dos sentimentos que muitas vezes são tão abstratos e difíceis de expressar.
In the depths of your eyes
I see the infinite azure skies
The eagerness to explore
The vast nature you adore
In the depths of your heart
I see the need to be a part
With arms constantly longing
Expressing your desire of belonging
In the depths of your mind
I see a life left behind
Feelings you’ve tried to bury
But nonetheless must carry.
In the depths of your soul,
Oh, dear little one!
I see the divinity within
The strength to conquer anything.
