Inspirational Quotes

 Hey Everyone,

I know it has been a while since I last posted. I plan on going back to posting more often, but today I just wanted to share a few quotes I read that impacted me:

“The happiest people I know are not those who find their golden ticket; they are those who, while in pursuit of worthy goals, discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“What we love determines what we seek. What we seek determines what we think and do. What we think and do determines who we are — and who we will become.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“Never give up on anyone. And that includes not giving up on yourself.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“True love requires action. We can speak of love all day long, we can write notes or poems that proclaim it, sing songs that praise it, and preach sermons that encourage it but until we manifest that love in action, our words are nothing but sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“What you create doesn’t have to be perfect. So what if the eggs are greasy or the toast is burned? Don’t let fear of failure discourage you.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“When our wagon gets stuck in the mud, God is much more likely to assist the man who gets out to push than the man who merely raises his voice in prayer—no matter how eloquent the oration.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“Love is spelled T.I.M.E.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“We have a choice. We can seek for the bad in others. Or we can make peace and work to extend to others the understanding, fairness, and forgiveness we so desperately desire for ourselves. It is our choice; for whatever we seek, that we will certainly find.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

“Sometimes we become so focused on the finish line, that we fail to find joy in the journey.”
― Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Bucket List

Vocês tem uma bucket list? Fui inspirada pela the Bucket List Family, a qual adoro acompanhar no Youtube pra criar a minha própria. Geralmente se cria uma lista dessa quando você já é idoso e não quer morrer antes de completar algumas metas. Como a minha lista é extremamente audaciosa, criei ela agora e espero visitar todos esses lugares antes de chegar no caixão, haha. Me desejem sorte!

Algum tempo atrás assisti um vídeo de um professor da BYU que ensina que listas como estas são imperiais para o nosso crescimento. Se eu encontrar novamente, atualizo o post para postar aqui.
